This paper will try to address the reasons behind geographical representation oin Spanish cabinets. The first part will focus on the theoretical framework of the study. It will be followed by a presentation of the methodology used for catching the territorial origin of Spanish politicians. Then, the main features of the Spanish case will be exposed before to present the results of the inquiry. This study will end with a short discussion of the findings and concluding remarks about the qualities and weaknesses of the analysis.
