Seminar: "The future of social change models in social science"

Greetings from the Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM-UPF)

http://www.upf.edu/survey/centre.html

We would like to remind you that the seminar "The future of social change models in social science" will take place this Friday, March 8th at 10h00, in room 13.102 of the Ramón Turró building (Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Campus de la Ciutadella).

Three experts on continuous time models will be our guest speakers: Dr. Manuel Voelkle (Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Germany), Dr. Marc Delsing (Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands) and Dr. Han Oud (Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands). The seminar is free of charge and does not require prior registration.

We especially recommend this seminar, as we think that social science in general should change its approach in the directions indicated in it. As most processes we study change continuously and not abruptly at fixed time distances, we believe the approaches that will be discussed in the seminar to be the future models for studying social science change.
