We are pleased to share that on 18 December, the University of Girona (UdG) will host the roundtable "Paradoxes in International Relations", with the participation of GLOBALCODES coordinator Dr. Valeria Bello.

This roundtable marks the launch of a broader research project that seeks to examine the paradoxes and oxymorons characterising contemporary approaches to migration governance. As such, it represents an important step forward in advancing critical perspectives on migration within the field of International Relations.

Building on this inaugural event in Girona, the project will offer a series of scholarly activities, including roundtables, panel discussions, and specialised workshops, bringing together an international network of partners across Europe and beyond. 

We look forward to the conversations this first event will open, which will continue to strengthen GLOBALCODES and Blanquerna–Ramon Llull University as leading voices in the study of migration today.
