Call for panels for the 11th Iberian Congress of African Studies which will be held at the University of Lisbon Faculdade de Letras, between 2-4 July 2020.

The deadline has been extended to 15 November.

Please disseminate the call for Panels among potentially interested colleagues.

Please do let me know in case anyone, who is not based in a Portuguese University, has a specific interest on a Panel that we could co-convene.

The idea is to have two Convenors from a Portuguese and/or Spanish University and eventually one of these two and a third one. I have not checked the rules but it is not exclusive  to Iberian-based africanists.

A gentle reminder: 24 October is the deadline to submit papers and/or closed panels to the World Congress of the International Political Science Association which will be held at the NOVA University of Lisbon between 25-29 July 2020.

FYI: The European Association of Social Anthropologists will held at ISCTE-IUL and ICS University of Lisbon their 16th Biennial Congress between 21-24 July 2020. The call for papers and labs will soon be open. https://easaonline.org/conferences/easa2020/cfpan
