Es presenta la nova web del projecte europeu GROW sobre desigualtats en l'educació infantil

El projecte de recerca internacional GROW (Where to grow a child?), participat per la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) i el Politecnico di Milano, ha fet un nou pas en la seva estratègia de difusió amb el llançament de la seva pàgina web oficial, un espai que centralitza els objectius, avenços i resultats d'aquesta iniciativa científica.

La nova pàgina neix amb la voluntat de facilitar l'accés a la informació tant a la comunitat investigadora com a responsables polítics i ciutadania interessada, en línia amb el compromís de transferència de coneixement que caracteritza el projecte.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026

The Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is looking for excellent postdoctoral researchers to jointly submit a proposal for the MSCA-PF 2026 call (HORIZON-MSCA-2026-PF-01). 

We are particularly interested in candidates willing to develop a project within the following areas:

• Topic 1: Territorial governance of inequality, metropolitan regions, social vulnerability and housing provision, political participation and climate adaptation.
• Topic 2: Welfare states and social policy, institutional mechanisms, demographic change social protection and structural inequality.
• Topic 3: Transnational relations, democratization and the politics of migration.
• Topic 4: Governance, organization, and politics of education.

Next-up Living Lab Workshop
Initial findings sharing workshop: 20 April 2026 (online registration). 

We warmly invite you to participate in the 2nd Living Lab workshop of the NEXT-UP Horizon Europe project: Navigating the Next Normal – Innovative Approaches to Enhancing Youth's Education–Employment Transitions in Post-COVID-19 Europe.

This interactive online session will present initial research findings on youth education-to-employment transitions across Europe and invite stakeholder perspectives.

The programme includes short presentations on youth employability policies, education–labour market relations after COVID-19, changing transition pathways, indicators of graduate employment, and future skills. Each presentation will be followed by a brief interactive discussion.

Your participation will help interpret the findings and contribute to the co-creation of future-oriented employability policies and practices.

Inici dels casos d'estudi pràctics del curs 25-26
Màster Polítiques Socials i Acció comunitària 

Els Casos d'estudi pràctic són un segell característic de la metodologia formativa del nostre Màster en Polítiques socials i Acció comunitària (PSAC) i a través d'ells, nostres alumnes realitzen visites a diferents territoris urbans i rurals de Catalunya, on coneixen de manera directa i aprenen, sobre les diverses accions social-comunitàries que allí es desenvolupen.

El primer Cas d'aquest curs, enfocat en les "Economies Transformatives" es va realitzar als municipis de Vic i Artés, coneixent experiències que aplicant l'Economia feminista i l'Agroecologia, com el "Espai Familiar", "La Reciclaria" o el Projecte Comunalitat de Vic, a més del "Celler Cooperatiu" d'Artés.

El segon Cas, enfocat en les "Infraestructures socials com a motor d'acció comunitària", es va realitzar en el Districte de Nou Barris de Barcelona, visitant experiències de Centres cívic i Comunitaris, Biblioteca, Ateneu en els Barris Verdum, Turò de la Peira, Roquetes, Torre Baró i Vallvona, a més de la ruta de patrimoni natural del del Rec Comtal.

En tots dos Casos, l'alumnat va interactuar directament amb els i els protagonistes de cada experiència, exercici que ajuda a aplicar i contrastar, els diferents marcs teòric-conceptuals que fan part de la seva formació. 

GROW Project
Where to grow a child? Spatial inequalities in ECEC and its impact on women's labour market participation

 #GROW, titled "Where to grow a child? Spatial inequalities in ECEC and its impact on women's labour market participation," is a research project that addresses the spatial inequalities in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Italy and its impact on women's participation in the labor market. The project is led by Alessandra Guglielmi from Politecnico di Milano and Lara Maestripieri by IGOP and employs a mixed-method approach that integratessocial policy analysis with advanced statistical techniques. The aim is to develop policy recommendations for the efficient and effective expansion of ECEC services.
