Research Assistant (0.6 FTE)

Salary Grade 6 - £26,829 to £31,076 per annum (pro-rata at 60%), due to external funding restrictions, an appointment can only be made at £26,829.

Fixed term contract for 6 months or until 14 July 2017

We are seeking to appoint a (at 60% FTE) Research Assistant to support the University of Leicester research team of the Open Research Area project PATHWAYS (Grant ES/L016664/1, funded by the ESRC) in the collection, processing and analyses of the data relating to three South European case studies (Greece, Italy and Spain). The RA will take care of coordinating and supervising a team of three remote assistant coders for each of these countries and of supporting data collection on Italy and Spain. Assistance with data collection may involve spending short periods of time in Italy and Spain for fieldwork. 

This position requires working on campus at Leicester and is not available for remote working.
