Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) Visiting Professor / Visiting Assistant Professor in International Security 2013

The Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) invites applications for a one-year position (academic year 2013-14) as Visiting Professor / Visiting Assistant Professor in the area of International Security. The postholder will be engaged in research and will teach three courses during the academic year (90 hours). Successful candidates will hold a PhD in International Relations or a related area and pursue research on issues of international security at the highest level. We can offer a remuneration of up to EUR35.000, which can also be used to supplement existing funding sources (i.e. sabbaticals). Applicants should submit, by April 30, 2013, a CV, the names of three references, and a letter of application (2-3 pp.), including a discussion of the research to be pursued. Ideas related to the integration of the research theme into the main research areas of IBEI are also welcome. Teaching experience will be highly valued.
