ICPP5 BARCELONA - CALL FOR PANELS IS OPEN
CALL FOR PANELS
5th International Conference on Public Policy
June 30 to July 2, 2021 - BARCELONA
Following the success of the four previous International Conferences on Public Policy in Grenoble (2013), Milan (2015), Singapore (2017) and Montreal (2019), we are happy to announce the opening of the call for panels for the fifth International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP5), the leading international conference for public policy scholarship. Jointly organized with the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), ICPP5 will take place at the Raval Building of the University of Barcelona from June 30 to July 2, 2021, with the pre-conference at IBEI's headquarters on June 29. The Universitat de Barcelona (UB), the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) also collaborate in this edition.
The Call for Panels for the ICPP5 is currently open until October 26, 2020. We invite all Scholars to submit a panel proposal to participate in ICPP5. The proposal should include:
- a description of its general objective, the definition of its research question, and a justification of its scientific relevance.
- a "call for papers" detailing the type of papers expected for the panels.
Every panel will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee of ICPP on the basis of the panel description and research question.
If selected, the accepted panels will be published on our website along with their presentations and research question, and the call for papers description. The panel chairs will directly manage the selection of the papers received during the call for papers and will be asked to accept from 4 to 15 papers according to their quality and relevance to the panel.
The panels can address any theoretical, methodological, or empirical research question and cover a large range of topics provided they are related to Public Policy. During the Conference, the panels will be divided into 1 to 3 sessions of 2h each and organized around paper presentations. To allow researchers to meet other peers and to discover new perspectives surrounding the same research questions, ICPP only accepts open panel proposals.
