Roundtables

For the first time the IAPSS World Congress 2016 will feature the new roundtable format. In a small-scale and cosy setting, our panelists and participants will be able to interact with NGOs that largely shape the debate(s) on the future of democracy.
At one of this year’s roundtables we are delighted to welcome Liquid Democracy to discuss the ways in which new technical developments are challenging democracy.
In this interactive session participants of the workshop will not only discuss and share ideas about Liquid Democracy’s latest projects, but they will also have the opportunity to try out the tools.

IAPSS World Congress 2016 has gone mobile!

Will be ready for download at the end of March!

At this year’s World Congress we have decided to use a mobile app instead of a printed programme. You’ll be able to plan your day with a personalized schedule and browse speaker profiles, have access to handy maps and general Congress info. The mobile app will really enhance your experience at IAPSS World Congress 2016.
The app is compatible with iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and Android devices. Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry users can access the same information via our mobile site.
The app is not only easy to download, but its super simple to use. Make sure you download it before you arrive so that you can use all the available features offline.
Keep an eye out for the mobile app email near the end of March with the download instructions and passphrase.
