on "The Universality of Human Rights in the 21st Century"
On December 10th, 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As this historic document reaches the age of 65, there are voices in the academic community, global civil society and international politics, which question this document. Is it really universal? Is it an extension of Western Influence? Is it too abstract? Does it respect all religions?
Debate these questions and many more with us at the IAPSS Autumn Convention 2014 in Nijmegen, the Netherlands!
From October 20th to 24th 2014, the largest student-led political science conference will be taking place in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Organised by the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS), the conference will bring together hundreds of students of political science and related studies from across the globe. The Convention will be organised by the Study Association for Political Science Students at Radboud University Nijmegen, ismus.

Following the four days of academic programme, IAPSS will host its 20th General Assembly - the highest decision-making authority of the Association. All members of IAPSS are invited to join this day filled with intense debate and planning about the future of the largest representation of political science students worldwide.
In the evenings, a fun and carefully thought-out social programme seeks to give participants a proper feeling of Nijmegen - the oldest city in the Netherlands.
