EISA call for panels and papers for the Standing Section Doing IPS
Applications for papers and panels are now open for the International Political Sociology Standing Section at next year's European International Studies Association Conference! EISA's 19th Pan-European Conference will be held from 1st to 4th September 2026 at ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon, Portugal. The deadline for submitting abstracts and full panels is 19th February 2026. The DoingIPS Standing Section, chaired by Renata Summa and Jef Huysmans, brings together a wide range of researchers interested in exploring research agendas focused on international political sociology as a site for critical examination of the 'problem of the international'. It invites debates that expand critical research at the intersection of social science disciplines to enrich and diversify scholarship in IR. You can find the fill description of the section below.
