The proposal deadline for the 23rd International Conference of Europeanists is October 1st!
The conference, which will be held in Philadelphia, PA, April 14-16, 2016, will focus on the theme of "Resilience" within European cultures, politics and society. The Council invites proposals for panels, roundtables, book discussions, and papers that examine Europe's capacity for resilience and related issues. Read the full Call for Proposals.

To submit a proposal, please go to the conference website, choose the type of proposal you wish to submit, and click the appropriate button. All proposals must be submitted no later than OCTOBER 1ST, 2015, 11:59PM EST. You will be notified of the status of your proposal on or before December 10, 2015.

The 2016 European Studies Book Award [8] will be awarded at the 23rd International  Conference of Europeanists, to be held in Philadelphia, PA, April 14-16, 2016. The winning author will receive $1,000 and travel support to attend the conference and award ceremony. Nominate a book today!

CES is calling for non-presenting students to volunteer at the 23rd International Conference of Europeanists. All volunteers who give one day of conference support will receive lunch, a free gift, and a waiver of the conference registration fee, allowing them to attend the two remaining days of the conference for free.
