As a key contributor to our ESF Research Conferences, I would like to inform you of our current call for conference proposals:

We are inviting proposals for ESF Research Conferences to take place in 2012 in the following scientific domains.

  • Molecular Biology+: Molecular Biology at the Interface with other Science Disciplines

(number of conferences in 2012: up to 5)

Conferences will concentrate on those topics that are at the interface between molecular life sciences and other related science disciplines, such as: Molecular Biology + Chemistry, Physics, Computer Sciences, Mathematical Modelling, Space Science, Clinical Medicine, Engineering, Environmental Science, Humanities and Social Sciences.

 

  • Interdisplinary Environmental Sciences

(number of conferences in 2012: 1)

The conference should bring together participants and experts from the social sciences and humanities with their colleagues working in the life and natural sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Life Sciences, etc ) to discuss topics that are of major importance to the scientific community in Europe.

 

  • Mathematics

(number of conferences in 2012: up to 4)

The topics should be at the forefront of scientific research and may be interdisciplinary when appropriate. Conferences will concentrate on topics in the broad area of Mathematics.

 

  • Physics/Biophysics and Environmental Sciences

(number of conferences in 2012: up to 5)The topics should be at the forefront of scientific research and may be interdisciplinary when appropriate. Conferences will concentrate on topics in the areas of Physics/Biophysics, and Environmental Sciences.

  • Social Sciences and Humanities

(number of conferences in 2012: up to 5)

The topics should be at the forefront of scientific research and may be interdisciplinary when appropriate. Conferences will concentrate on topics in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
