Call for Papers Annual BAGSS Conference (ABC) 2015: Inequalities

The Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences (BAGSS) invites contributions to its interdisciplinary Ph.D. Conference on ‘Inequalities’ to be held on September 29-30 in Bamberg, Germany. The conference provides an opportunity for Ph.D. students to present and discuss their research with colleagues and leading scholars in the field.

In each session an invited senior researcher will present his or her latest research and provide feedback on the papers presented in the session. The conference panels cover a wide range of research areas dealing with inequality across the social sciences, including: skills & competencies, labour markets, gender, migration, regions in Europe, political participation, states in international relations, educational inequality, ethnic inequalities, digital inequality or normative justification of inequality

Please submit an abstract (max. 350 words, pdf) to orga-abc.bagss@uni-bamberg.de

The application should include your contact information (name, affiliation and e-mail-address) and your preferred panel.

Abstract submission deadline: June 30, 2015.

Participants will be selected on the basis of these abstracts, following a peer-review process. Authors will be notified of the selection panel’s decisions by July 31, 2015. Presenters will be asked to submit either an extended abstract (2-4 pages) or a paper (max. 8.000 words) by September 9, 2015.
