3-year PhD Research Position in Research Project on Coalition Governments

To support the *German Science Foundation* research project /Bringing policies back in: Explaining payoff allocation in coalition governments/ which is conducted in cooperation with Hanna Bäck (University of Lund), we are currently seeking applications for the following open position at the University of Bamberg:

·Starting date: earliest starting date is 1 June 2014 and the latest is 1 October 2014

·Remuneration is based on Grade E13 TVL (65\%) of the German Public Salary Scale (approx. 38,000 Euro per year)

You support us in theory development, data collection and data analysis for the project on payoff allocation in coalition governments

You are expected to develop and carry out your own PhD project preferably related to the overall research project

*Qualifications and requirements*

You have a MA in Political Science

You have strong methodological skills

You have a background in Comparative Politics and an interest for coalition governments

You have a strong command of English
